The astute among you will notice that we skipped a month and what should have been our August competition night has become a September competition night. The subject for this themed battle royale...? The United Nations. That is, if the astute among you actually give a hoot.

Ah yes, the United Nations - that league of states brought together under a common purpose - to promote international co-operation. Much like when the boys of the East Neuk Model Club come together each first Thursday and discuss the finer aspects of the hobby, but without all that tedious co-operation nonsense, exempli gratia, last night's topic on how best to apply floor wax to your model. Thankfully, a curfew* was declared long before any hostilities came to bear.
